This site is dedicated to the memory of Bertram Archer.

Bertram Stuart Trevelyan Archer was born in Hampstead, London on 3 February 1915. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his family and friends.

Colonel Stuart Archer, as he was known, was awarded the George Cross for his sustained courage in bomb disposal work in 1940 and for providing the War Office with different types of German weapon components at a time when very little was known about them.
